Research Question Currently Trafikverket has started to assess maintenance operations in the railway system within a CBAapproach. As a part of that effort a model for the influence of infrastructure failures on train delays (“Fel-och förseningsmodellen”) has been developed. In that model individual train movements are modelled as aWienerprocesses with drift. The project will use a generalisation of that approach, to a marked point-process,in order to incorporate interaction between trains and restrictions from the railway network and time tables.Thereby, enhance its use in policy evaluations and CBA:s
